Dear costumers and friends: Before our holidays, we want to announce that La Caja de Música is opening during the day time offering traditional Spanish Brunch and delicious coffee. Our typical Spanish brunch includes an aromatic coffee (four different beans blend), a toast of bread spread with fresh tomato and extra virgin olive oil and orange juice freshly squeezed. This set menu is characteristic from the South of Spain. You also have the choice of a Northern style breakfast with a portion of Spanish omelet with coffee and orange juice as well. In addition to these sets, there are another options to complete your brunch, like salads, yoghurt with Muesli, scrambled eggs, etc. Openings hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 to 16:30 Kitchen is serving food until 14:00. This comming Saturday  29th we have folk/rock in the Stage, see you all in La Caja at 20.30!!! The Red Cliff is an acoustic Anglo-American trio currently based in Taipei, Taiwan. Singers/songwriters/ guitarists Mark Darvill and Caleb Cole met in the cruel harsh winter of 2009 and have been performing in and around Taipei on and off since early 2010. After a long time spent feeling that their sound was missing something, the duo recently recruited the drumming services of Moshe Foster. The result is an at times melodic, at times frenetic blend of folk and rock. Audiences have been known to leave shows feeling satisfied, contemplative or just downright good. One thing’s for sure, you will leave knowing you’ve just watched a band… or sometimes maybe not, because sometimes there’s only two of them. DC’s engaging solo repertoire ranges from Tin Pan Alley to Broadway; from Beale Street to Basin Street and beyond. DC gives a personal Bluesy reading of the classic songs from the Great American songwriters; Gershwin, Kahn, Mercer, Arlen, Leiber, Ellington, Allison, Loesser, Duke and Jordan as well as the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and Van Morrison. Dear all we want to start our own Taiwan New Talents showcase in  our stage this Saturday October 25th. We will bring you a little boy, he came to our restaurant for dinner and we start to talk  then he ask me about the guitars on the wall  and we finish jamming in our stage from rock to Lady Gaga it was a fantastic night and we decided to invite him to make a little performance he was very happy about the idea this guy is Joseph !! Arman Torus & the Soul Pack Arman Torus-guitar/vocals Lanny Waugh- guitar Kazuo Inoue- bass Jubba- drums Arman Torus and the Soul Pack is a funk/soul/reggae band that plays high quality original songs as well as popular covers. They consist of some of the most talented musicians in Taiwan.   Arman Torus is a songwriter and multi instrumentalist based out of Toronto, Canada. His songs are characterized by a mix of reggae, funk, soul and latin grooves topped by soulful vocals and colorful soloing and syncopation. He has been involved in several projects such as the electronic jazz band, Geophone, singer/songwriter Adrian Shaw, as well as his own project, the 6 piece funk band the Shiznits. On rhythm/lead guita r is Lanny Waugh, a 30 year veteran of the Taiwan Music Scene.
