Some time ago , a friend asked me something a little unusual, or at least it seemed to me at the time, with a questioning voice said, - Hey, you like to disassemble things and see what's inside , you know that happiness is made ? Instantly a song came into my head, nice name you have , happiness ... and I replied : 'I'm not sure, but I think the raw material is laughter and love in large amounts. So I can say , this is a  group of engineers of happiness , they will be the next   Wednesday 30th April at the stage of   The Music Box (La Caja de Musica) around 20.30. Dear friends Saturday night we invite you to this show, come and listen to this artist coming from Barcelona, Spain... PaintingNebraska is the solo acoustic project of Ferran Perez , a boy from Barcelona who has recently arrived to Taipei. He is influenced by bands such as Into. It Over It., Owen and The Weakerthans . Ferran has played several shows in some Catalonian cities, he also played in a tour called “Flat tour” where he colaborate with other acoustic bands in some house shows in the Barcelona area.  Nowadays he has two Eps: Songs against the bad weather and "Tren a Taipei" ( Train to Taipei). Acidy Peeping Tom is a trio indie band from Taipei since Aug. 2011 and consists of Jacky Zhong(bass, vocal), Meg Chao(drum, vocal) and Neo Ni(guitar, synth). The band began in once rehearsal, singing some disco type songs they wrote and playing at Taipei's live house after founded three month later.     2nd EP “A EP" was released in the end of December 2013.    Please attend our gigs, you can find something fun.     The concert start at 20:30 , ticket fee 250 with a beer or soda included.

Dear all: Our stage still burning after the concert of La Cumbia del Sol last Sunday but This Friday Night (Feb 21st) will burn again with this Crazy Trio coming from Okinawa!! They are Beni Mshenzi , their particular style is the mix of reggae roots with jazz  is called  Modern Roots Music. This style, in my opinion, have two masters; one is the pianist Monty Alexander and the other the Guitar player Ernest Rangling. The three members of Beni Mshenzi are Rintaro "Bushman" Masui  ( Alto Sax) well known in Taiwan because his collaborations with the reggae artist based in Taitong Red-I & The Riddim Outlawz on the Bass& Vocal, Nao and on Drums Mr. Ryota. The event starting at 20h30 ticket fee 250NTD as usual a beer or soda included!

Latin music concert in our stage La Cumbia del SOL will be here to make you dance until the last minute of your weekend .... This band  started in 2012 as "La Cumbia Balkanska", but after a year the band broke up, and thus the formation of "The Cumbia From The Sun" . For those who didn't know Cumbia is part of the traditional music from Colombia, now very famous all around the World. Europe, South and North America know about this music before but now in Asia is getting popular too. So this guys are bringing this new hot grooves to this part of Asia. But they don't play Cumbia in the traditional way, they Mix it with deep Reggae shots, and Balkan jumps. Each member of the band bring its own flavor. Winking Owl is an eclectic brand of indie-folk. Engaging melodies and sincere lyrics drive the bus. Currently based in Taiwan; Winking Owl is the pet project of reclusive, bitter, and often paranoid singer/songwriter           Marc Spahn .
