Dear friends what a weekend Friday and Saturday night we have live music in La Caja de Musica!! We are so expecting to receive this Saturday in La Caja de Musica a band really full of energy and Soul, we are congratulate to introduce you to "The Shiznits". The Shiznits are a hot funk and soul band featuring veterans of the Taipei music scene. The band was formed by random jams at live music venues.  The band's repertoire includes a strong collection of original songs, as well as numbers by Prince, James Brown and D'Angelo, and even a few reggae classics. Featuring the intensity of D.C. Rapier on saxophone, the explosive power of Nicolas Chenuet on trumpet, the rhythmic and funky guitar playing of Nick Brown and the soulful vocals of Arman Torus, the Shiznits' sound is driven by the rock-solid rhythm section of bassist Sean Su and drummer Daz Booker. Hola Amigos! After the weekend we start another Flamenco Night in La Caja, tomorrow Tuesday welcome again and see what will happen this time. So If you play guitar, cajon, you sing or dance starting  around 20h30, you have a meeting in our place. We want to invite you and your friends to come and share your passion, knowledge and skills about Flamenco. Exchange music, talk about your Spanish travel ( if you have been there), practice your Spanish or just come, drink something and listen. Tuesday's Flamenco Night in La Caja de Musica have one clear objective,  make our bar a typical Spanish place where we can feel "el duende " Flamenco . No ticket fee only we need the collaboration of many people who voluntary come and perform for pleasure,  almost a Flamenco jam session. We think those nights will be useful to meet new friends and maybe also be useful to the Flamenco professionals  to  extend their network for future colaborations. ...

Hello everybody: This Friday10th we will have a very special guest, the owners of La Caja de Musica Luis and Ramses are members of  this band. And is rare they play all together so you can not miss this opportunity , they want to introduce themselves as JALEO ! ! JALEO is a Spanish word with different meanings like "encourage clapping with gestures and voices" or kind of "messy situation, disorder"..... just perfect to express this band and their shows!! They have influences of  Flamenco, Latin, Pop and Reggae music, the members of this band coming from Guatemala,Taiwan, Israel and Spain. So this Friday night no excuses just to come and join the partyyyyyy!! The concert will start around 20:30 for this event the ticket fee 250NT with one beer of soft drink included.
